A.: The following file paths are used for users:.

  • Drive:\Documents and settings\UsersAppData\Local\Olav_Treffurt_IT_Consulti\
  • Drive:\Documents and settings\UsersAppData\Roaming\Dynamics Project\V8SearchXE\Errorlog\

A.: V8 Search XE uses the local mode of the ReportViewer. The data and the report definition are generated and rendered on the computer. Since all data is stored in main memory and if a large dataset is called in the report, delays may occur - depending on the hardware.

A.: The message appears if an error occurred during the installation of the trial version of V8 Search XE. In this case, please contact our support.

A.: The message shows that the user does not have sufficient access rights.

  • Use an administrator account to install, uninstall and start V8 Search XE.
  • To start V8SEAXE as administrator, hold down the "Ctrl" and "Shift" keys and click on the respective program icon. The program will start in administrator mode.

A.: V8SEAXE uses Html / Json based data. The data and the graphic definition are generated and rendered on the computer. Since all data is stored in main memory and if a large dataset is called in the report, there may be delays - depending on the hardware.

A.: Der Importe der Extended Events Daten setzt eine gültige Lizenz voraus. Die Lizenz wird Ihnen monatlich per E-Mail Verfügung gestellt. Sie müssen zum ersten eines neuen Monats die Lizenz in die Datenbank eintragen. Den Dialog zum Eintragen der Lizenz finden Sie unter den Settings -> Data -> Button „Licence“.
